Pleasure Over Productivity (Yes, Really!)

Let me ask you something: who are you without your work? 

Think about that, I'll wait. 

Somewhere between the Canva designs, the content batching, the launch schedules, the client calls, the networking, and the godforsaken email inbox, we forget.

We forget who we are when we're not performing, building, serving, creating, DOING.

So today, I want to remind you that you're allowed, no, encouraged, to create something just for you. Not for likes. Not for sales. Not for your personal brand.

Something pointless. You heard me. Pointless.

Just for joy. Just for fun. Just because it feels delicious.

A hobby. A ritual. A Monday night dance party in your kitchen. A sketchbook that never sees the light of day. A walk with no step-counting app.  

Try that pottery class. Pull out the tarot deck. Make those ridiculously complex Pinterest cookies. Sit on the floor and play with your cat. Make a mess. Feel something.

When you give yourself space to just be something magical happens.

Your joy comes home.

You are a whole person. Not a productivity machine.

Joy isn't optional. It's fuel.

Pleasure isn't indulgent. It's medicine.

So, who you are when you're not "on the clock"?

You're still in there and this is your permission to remember you. To do something (anything!) that's got nothing to do with your job, your goals, or your brand. 

Just for the love of it.

Because you matter. 

Go be your own biggest fan. I'm off to watch all of Emily In Paris again... just because 🇫🇷
