By accessing our Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Female CEO – Create Evolve Overcome Ltd is a global platform, digital magazine, and community supporting women in business.

Our services

We provide digital and editorial services, including but not limited to:

  • Visibility features (e.g., Iconic Impact, Influence & Inspire, Small Business Spotlight, Write For Us)
  • Memberships and subscriptions (e.g., Biz Love Letters, community access, digital magazine)
  • Events and workshops (online and in-person)
  • Digital content (editorial articles, resources, and guides)

Unless specifically stated, we do not sell physical goods.

Eligibility

To purchase our services, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.

Orders and contracts

When you place an order on our Website, you will receive an email confirmation. A contract between you and us is formed once payment is successfully processed.

We reserve the right to decline, refund or cancel any order where necessary (e.g., if payment is not received, or if we are unable to deliver the service).

Prices and payment

  • All prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment is taken securely through third-party processors such as Stripe, PayPal, or Kajabi.
  • Instalment options (e.g., Klarna) may be offered where available.
  • Services will only be provided once payment has been received in full (unless a payment plan has been agreed).

Delivery of services

  • Digital features and content will be delivered via email, our Website, or digital platforms.
  • Memberships and subscriptions will begin once payment is confirmed.
  • Events/workshops will be delivered at the date and time specified in your booking confirmation.

We will make every reasonable effort to deliver services on time, but we are not liable for delays outside our control.

Cancellations and refunds

Your rights will depend on the type of service purchased:

  1. a) Editorial features and visibility packages
  • Due to the bespoke nature of editorial services, refunds are not available once work has begun.
  • If you cancel before we start work, a refund may be issued at our discretion.
  1. b) Digital subscriptions and memberships
  • You have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase if you have not accessed the content.
  • If you access the content within the 14-day period, you agree that your right to cancel is waived.
  • Ongoing subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via your account, but payments already made are non-refundable.
  1. c) Events and workshops
  • Ticket cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event for a refund (admin fee may apply).
  • No refunds are available for non-attendance.
  • If we cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered a refund or transfer.

Customer responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when placing an order and to co-operate with us in delivering our services (e.g., providing content, approvals, or materials on time).

Intellectual property

All content provided by The Female CEO (including articles, features, images, digital resources, and branding) remains our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Privacy and data protection

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, or fraud. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for business losses, loss of profit, or indirect/consequential losses.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant service.

Circumstances beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., internet outages, strikes, government restrictions).

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

We aim to provide excellent service. If you have a complaint, please contact us at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and resolve them within 28 days.

No guarantees

We are committed to delivering high-quality editorial features, visibility services, and community opportunities. However, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, such as increased sales, revenue, or business success, as results will vary depending on individual circumstances outside of our control.
