SO, REBECCA & SARA, WHAT ARE YOUR STORIES?

R - I was a single parent, working in corporate, absolutely miserable, entirely unfulfilled and missing my kids when I took the leap of faith in starting my own business. Six years later, I had an award-winning six-figure company but completely running on empty as it was a 24/7 hustle. I knew there had to be another way, so I moved all my businesses online and learned to delegate! Now I have five beautiful children that I can be present for, coaching other women to create the time and financial freedom they crave.

S - To some surprise, I loved my 9-5'er, but my passion for travel was so much greater. I realised this when seeing the same white walls. A countdown calendar on my desktop ticked down to my next adventure, and it dawned on me, "what I am truly working towards"? As scary as it can be, I took that leap and booked a one-way ticket to Bali, without any plan other than a working visa for Australia costing £500 - which I never used. The reason, I was going back into the same life I had in the UK I wanted away from. So I decided there has to be a way to create a laptop lifestyle on my terms (I didn't even own a laptop at this point, a complete rookie). Still, I knew any idea might be possible when you put the action and dedication behind it!

At the time, I was aware Instagram was stepping into the limelight with influencers and the potential income, so I began researching and yes, like most, I invested in some courses. I got utterly burnt, but this became a strength because I opened a free community educating others on social media with value that, in my opinion, platforms should already teach us. Fast forward to today; what I did learn is there is a gap when it comes to monetising a business using social media v influencing on social media. Four years in, 14 countries visited, over 5k women educated, and the adventures continue supporting and helping other women achieve the same with whatever their version of freedom looks like.

YOU ARE BOTH INCREDIBLE (AND VERY DIFFERENT) COACHES IN YOUR OWN RIGHT. HOW DID THIS AMAZING COLLABORATION COME ABOUT?

R - Sara and I clicked instantly when working together on a joint project. I fully respected her decision to leave the 9-5 behind and create a life doing the thing she loved most - travel! We both feel so passionately that when women support women, incredible things can happen, so I am so excited we get to live our values through this collaboration!

S - Becc and I just absolutely clicked when we first met each other! We ended up working with one another and realised our values are very similar along with our mission, and we both have different yet equally strong skillsets to support and build women into their dream life.

Becc is a fierce, magnetic force that is always two steps ahead, as you can imagine being a loving mother of five beautiful kids! Mixed with my social energy and LITERALLY taking everyone on the journey of travel and entrepreneur life, the wins and the challenges, we know that the possibilities for any woman are endless regardless of the background, goal, and network is key. As Becc and I say, when one woman rises, we all rise.

YOU HAVE AN ALIGNED MISSION TO HELP WOMEN ACHIEVE FINANCIAL FREEDOM WHILST FORMING STRONG ALLIANCES. WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE?

R - For me, I believe in the power of the collective feminine energy and how unique creativity can come out of any situation where women sit down together to figure something out! Especially if there is wine or tea involved! This Academy taps into that community so that when one rises, we all rise. This includes everything from engagement on a post to expand its reach to providing referrals, testimonials, collaborations and Affiliate partnerships. This community is about women supporting women to make actual money in their businesses.

S - Exactly what Becc said, ha! Keeping mine short and sweet, community always wins. There is no such thing as competition. The reality is in showing you that it can be done! When you have a community of women equally working towards their goals and supporting you to achieve yours, how is it possible to fail? At every turn, you have support. Having an epic cheerleading squad celebrating the wins to raise you up when you feel like quitting, success is inevitable, even more so when you share your businesses with others that may require that service.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE CRITICISM?

R - I am an NLP coach, so I understand if people are negative towards me, it's typically more about them than me, so I don't take it personally. However, I am always open to feedback, and I can take my ego out of any situation and look at it objectively. If it is someone being mean for no reason, then I don't give any energy to it at all. I am a manifestation coach and what you focus on expands, so I wouldn't want to manifest any more negativity.

S - Honestly, the first five minutes, I can be triggered and feel like retaliating, telling them where to go. However, quite quickly, I will change that thought process because usually, it's more of a projection from that person, and we never know what's going on behind the scenes. Let's be honest; we're unable to please everyone anyway. It's completely normal. Some people may have an opinion, and that's fine, but it won't stop me from achieving my vision or others. As the saying goes, let the haters hate until they ask if you're employing. We all have them. It's a choice if you let them win.

YOU ARE BOTH VERY MUCH COMMUNITY MINDED. IN PRACTICAL TERMS WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO THE WOMEN YOU WORK WITH?

R - Because we live our values and genuinely cultivate that mindset amongst our clients, they see for themselves how collaboration is a game-changer. We actively facilitate collaboration and networking opportunities amongst the women in the group, which massively speeds up their success and confidence. For many women who join us, this is the first time they have experienced such a genuine community of cheerleaders, and it lifts them massively! The world needs more wealthy women in leadership positions; if we all work together, we could quite literally make the world a better place! So often, women are pitted against and compared to each other; I never want to perpetuate that cycle because it only holds us back.

YOU ARE BOTH VERY DIFFERENT WOMEN WITH DIFFERENT MOTIVATIONS IN YOUR BUSINESS BUT ARE INCREDIBLY ALIGNED IN YOUR VALUES, BRINGING ABOUT AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE. HOW HAS THIS HELPED AND HINDERED YOU IN DEVELOPING THIS IDEA?

R - We recognise (like Liam Neeson) that we both have a very special set of skills, and we let each other stay in our zones of genius. I love a spreadsheet, and a webinar and Sara loves analytics and algorithms. It helps that we are also really great friends and both so passionate about making a difference that we continually pull together as a team!

S - Becc is the yin to my yang. When you combine our skills, it's an absolute no brainer! We have such positive energy that we both bounce off, making our friendship/ business so much more creative for all those around us—looking for the same? Sit with us; we are waiting! It's the complete package required for anyone that needs a powerhouse motivator and director to that success staircase.

AUTHENTICITY AND ALIGNMENT ARE ESSENTIAL TO BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS. YOU TEACH WOMEN TO BRING THEIR PERSONAL ENERGY INTO THE PROCESS AND SHOW UP AS THEIR TRUE SELVES. HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO GET WOMEN OUT OF THE CURRENT 'PERFECTIONISM' WAY OF THINKING, AND WHY?

R - No one can be you, and that is your USP in business. Whether you provide the same services as someone else, you bring your journey, experience, passion, and spin to the table, so there is no need to run your business like anyone else. When you try to be like everyone else, you miss a huge opportunity to stand out from the crowd and connect with genuine ideal clients who will love everything about you.

S - The first thing I instantly think is - what is your definition of perfection for everyone reading? Sit in that for a minute - what to you is perfect?. Now remind yourself that version of perfect is your version compared to someone else. So why focus on something that takes time, holds you back when in reality, you can show up being your true authentic self that your tribe will gravitate to and relate to, not fitting in the stereotypical box. If you're reading this, let me tell you, you are not a tick in a box! You are here to be so much more. I already see it.

WHAT HAVE YOU FOUND DIFFICULT ON YOUR JOURNEY AND WHAT WOULD YOU AVOID IF YOU WERE ABLE TO DO IT ALL AGAIN?

R - I would have invested in a coach from the start of my business journey. It would have saved me many lost holidays and weekends trying to figure it all out by myself. As women, we have so much pressure to do everything and be every woman (we are not Whitney Houston). I wish I had realised sooner that it was ok to do things my way without apology.

S - I now recognise so many missed opportunities by not investing. Thinking I could achieve it all on my own. It was unrealistic and wasted so much time. The reality is investing is just that; it's not spending. When you find a program or coach that SAVES you time or is a FAST TRACK to the next level within your business, please take the opportunity and know that it's an investment that will return tenfold in the future; all it requires is you to take action.

WHAT’S YOUR TOP TIP FOR ENTREPRENEURS READING THIS ARTICLE?

R - Stop trying to do all the things! Especially if they are things that you don't like or aren't any good at! You can easily delegate, eliminate, or automate most tasks in your business, leaving you space to do the things you enjoy. This will avoid burnout and ensure you build a sustainable business that you love!

S - I believe in you! Just start - I challenge you to implement 15 minutes of productive work a day to your dream life. Reach out to me six months from now and update me - you'll be surprised by your progress!

WHICH MOTIVATIONAL SONG WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO ADD TO THE FEMALE CEO'S #GIRLBOSS PLAYLIST ON SPOTIFY FOR YOU?

R - Confident Demi Lovato

S - Diva - Beyonce

DESCRIBE EACH OTHER IN ONE WORD.

R - Badass

S - Glamorous-Manifestor

DO YOU HAVE A BOOK OR FAVOURITE PODCAST RECOMMENDATION FOR OUR FEMALE CEO MEMBERS?

R - Audacity to be Queen - Gina Devee (Book)

S - You are a badass at making money - Jen Sincero (Book)

YOU ARE BOTH PASSIONATE CHANGE-MAKERS. HOW CAN WE ADD TO AND CONTINUE THE MOMENTUM OF COLLABORATION OVER COMPETITION, AND WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S CRUCIAL IN TODAY'S MARKETPLACE?

R - Men are five times more likely to be a millionaire than women. I plan to change this statistic. Women are already on the back foot with societal stereotypes about our roles and obligations in the workplace and home. We were also most affected during COVID. We need to stop feeling like we are also competing with each other and instead band together to collectively raise our wealth and our expectations of what is available to us.

Collaborating will 10x your business growth. We need to stop aiming for side hustles and pocket money businesses, knowing that we can do so much more. We can build companies that work around our families and our goals, but it starts with permitting ourselves to do that. We need to step up and educate ourselves on managing our finances, creating wealth, raising our profiles, and being the generation that changed the game for our daughters.

S - Collaborate - it's that simple. We have such an opportunity today with the power of social media - that feeling when someone shares your content or for me when I see others supporting others. I think that's so nice and I remember that. It's important today because we have so many outlets to get noticed without spending £££'s as they say sharing is caring. That one share can make all the difference.

IF YOU COULD EACH GIVE ONE MESSAGE TO THE WOMEN OF THE WORLD WHAT WOULD IT BE?

R - The world needs you to be a wealthy woman, and there has never been a better time to be a woman in business, so let's get out of our way and create the success that was meant for us.

S - Why not you? We are all unique. We all have something to give! It's time to stop playing small, go all in and watch the magic unfold! The mind achieves what the mind believes.

WHAT MAKES YOU TRULY HAPPY AND HOW DO YOU HANDLE DOWNTIME?

R - My children! Genuinely, it's a cliche, but my children bring me so much joy and always bring me back to a place of gratitude. My youngest is only 12 weeks, so I am forever thankful that I took the leap of faith to start my own business. Travel is my other passion, so I am excited to get back to that shortly!

S - Honestly, living my life on my terms and sharing that energy with others! I'm literally like a game of where's Wally, but it's where's Sara! Downtime for me would be exploring a hotspot, if possible, some epic waterfalls or something completely freaking random like that one time I got invited to a greek wedding or lived with a Balinese family for a week - or just your typical Netflix and binge - the list is endless and I hope for many more. Still, everything always comes back to balance. When you take more time for yourself, you step into your creative flow building and contributing to your success. Trust the process CEO's x
