Over to you Guy…

SO, GUY, WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

I have been working in the creative industry for over 10 years, initially as a business development manager and now in addition to this I am helping companies develop brand awareness and recognition as well as tangible results utilising social media.

WHAT’S YOUR BRAND MISSION?

World domination!!

No really it is to help our clients to reach their full potential as a business and to help achieve their goals whether that be creative or strategic.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST EXCITING PROJECT YOU HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH?

It has to be Parlour Made, this began with an idea from someone who wanted to make cheese. It all started with with helping to develop their market brand and identity, website and food packaging and now, over seven years later, we have a wonderful relationship with them and their very very very tasty cheese, is available everywhere from farmers markets to artisanal food shops all over the country! To have been on their journey every step of the way has been an immensely rewarding and tasty experience for us.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE CRITICISM?

Violence!

Honestly, if it constructive criticism then I am all ears, thankfully we don’t hear too much but as we work in a very consultative way this is always helpful to both us and our clients.

WHO INSPIRES YOU?

My mother always did and always will inspire me, she taught me the importance of honestly, hard work and decency and generosity of spirit.

HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS?

In business it would be the recap at the completion of the project knowing the client is happy and also seeing our work out in the world.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN ONE WORD.

Tired!

WHAT’S YOUR SUPERPOWER?

Sadly not time travel, but got to be humour.

HOW WOULD YOUR BEST FRIEND DESCRIBE YOU?

Funny, ginger and creative.

WHAT’S YOUR TOP TIP FOR ENTREPRENEURS READING THIS ARTICLE?

Keep reading and spend some time on the site, there is a lot of help and support here for you.

WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY OR WHAT WOULD YOU AVOID IF YOU COULD DO IT OVER AGAIN?

I would have spent a lot less time working in call centres, they were not a place for me that was conducive to job satisfaction and stability .

WHAT’S THE NUMBER ONE PLAYED SONG ON YOUR IPOD?

It changes every week but this week it has been Dust to Dust by the Civil Wars.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE?

Carrot cake is not cake.

DO YOU HAVE A BOOK OR FAVOURITE PODCAST RECOMMENDATION FOR OUR FEMALE CEO MEMBERS?

I listen to ‘you made it weird’ podcast and love it, very funny and spiritual and the host gives people plenty of space and time and no judgement which is very refreshing nowadays!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE NON WORK RELATED THING TO DO?

Going to the cinema, singing and eating cake.
