I asked our featured entrepreneurs to give some insight into their own private rituals and tools for handling downtime. Heres what they said...
nichola english - the wardrobe provocateur
Downtime is so important to maintaining a healthy work life balance. I love to see a good action movie at the cinema with pick and mix, then head off to a restaurant with family afterwards. It really does fill me up and allow me to regain perspective.
alessandra maderni - shipsomnia & mad fresh entertainment
I feel happy and grateful knowing that I’m able to live my journey the way I envision it. It’s the freedom of knowing that I’m doing what I’m doing not because I have to but because I want to and that makes me happy. I’m a bit of an introvert and like spending my downtime with people that I love and trust.
ANDREW BALL - ALZHEIMERS SOCIETY
For me, family time makes me truly happy, if I have the right people around me downtime is very easy.
susan smalley - life discovery coach
Aside from the love of my work taking me into the pathway of so many beautiful souls, I love my grand-daughter and I love how being with her and playing in sand, painting, reading, walking and talking, she is so fascinating. I see her soul and she sees mine. My downtime is writing and I even took a little University Course this summertime which I am delighted I passed with Credit. Ongoing works are produced and I look forward to being published soon.
