How do you make you and your brand stand out from the crowd? You need to create content that grabs people’s attention. Here are six tips to get your content get noticed.

1. Know your ideal customer

I know you have heard this before, but you really need to get inside your ideal customer’s head. How old are they? Where do they hang out online and in real life? Once you know who you are talking to, your content marketing will get so much easier.

2. Remember the point

What is the purpose of your content? What do you want your reader to do next? There is no point creating content for content’s sake. Always remember add a Call To Action when you create content. It could be something simple like: Follow me on Instagram, Join my free community or Buy a ticket to my next event.

3. It’s not about you

It’s about your reader. Don’t write about you and your business. Write about your customer’s pain points. How can you solve them? What tips can you share with them to make their lives easier? What are the benefits of working with you?

4. Create a hook

Can you think of an attention-grabbing headline? How can you get your reader to like, share or comment on your posts and content? Ask people to do something when you write social media posts.

5. Be Authentic

Be yourself and don’t try and be something you are not. Write about stories and situations that are relevant to your business and life. This content will resonate with your ideal customer and get them to know, like and trust you.

6. Don’t be afraid

Last but not least, don’t be scared to be visible, go out and share your story. We want to hear about you and your business!
